Hey, Harry Styles: Hilary Duff Wants To Record A Duet With You

I don’t know about you, but lately we’re all about Hilary Duff.
It’s been seven years since our own Lizzie McGuire dropped an album and we’ve all been impatiently waiting for her return. And even though she’s released the songs “Chasing the Sun” and “All About You,” the fans want more. And guess what? We’re about to get it because, according to Hilary, the album is “pretty much done.”
MTV News recently caught up with Hilary in New York, where she teamed up with Trident Gum and Smiles Across America to get millions of kids access to proper dental care. She revealed that she’s putting the finishing touches on her fifth album, which will be released in the new year, but she’s waiting for a certain someone to jump on an unfinished duet track.
“I might go with an unknown or an up-and-comer just to give the song even more of a quirky feel,” Duff said. “But secretly, I really love Harry Styles, but he’s kind of busy with One Direction — I know this — but I am a secret 1D fan.”
Hilary, the secret’s out now, and we want to make this musical match made-in-heaven happen because this song, which Hilary said has an “old school Sheryl Crow vibe to it,” sounds like it would be perfect for Harry.
“It’s about being in New York and meeting someone, like, standing in the rain trying to get a cab, when you’re basically going to fight for a cab and you’re either going to join forces or you’re going to fight to the death,” she explained. “Well, this one is about not getting in a fight and sharing a cab with a guy and like falling in love on the ride.”
