Ushtria pakistaneze ka njoftuar se forcat e saj kanë vrarë 55 militantë islamikë, në kuadër të një ofenzive anti-terrorizëm të nisur pas sulmit vdekjeprurës në një shkollë në Peshauar.
Zyrtarët kanë njoftuar se 16 militantë janë vrarë gjatë përleshjeve që kanë ngjarë mbrëmjen e së premtes në rajonin Orakzai, në afërsi të kufirit me Afganistanin.
39 militantë të tjerë, në mesin e të cilëve edhe dy komandantë të tyre, janë vrarë si rezultat i sulmeve ajrore që kanë ngjarë gjatë natës në Viziristanin Verior.
Ushtria ka njoftuar se si rezultat i sulmeve, është shkatëruar edhe një depo nëntokësore e armatimit.
Autoritetet pakistaneze i kanë shtuar ofenzivat që nga 16 dhjetori, datë në të cilën militantët pakiztanezë kanë vrarë 151 persona, nga të cilët 142 fëmijë,
