For Beyoncé’s On the Run tour, designer Michael Costello created 24 handmade custom creations for the superstar that total a staggering $200,000. Michael spoke exclusively with Life & Style about the materials he used and the hours he logged to create these one of a kind masterpieces of fashion.

“Every time Bey sings ‘Drunk on Love,’ she wears a black jumpsuit made with Italian lace,” Michael exclusively says in the new issue of Life & Style. “It took over 350 hours to create just one yard of that outfit!” The price tag? It’s $28,500!

And when Beyoncé performs her hit “Partition,” she slips into a sultry number that costs $17,500. “It’s a floral print, sequined, long-sleeved piece that I did for her,” Michael tells the mag in his interview. “The top is a stretch sequin with 24-karat-gold hand-painted lace. All of the pieces that we worked on cost almost $200,000.”

And Queen Bey wouldn’t have it any other way: “It’s nothing but the best of the best for Beyoncé!”
