Scooch over, Shailene Woodley. Cara Delevingne is coming in hot as the newest John Green girl now. After wink-nudge name-dropping the King of YA during a chat with ELLE for London Fashion Week — the mag asked about her about her current reading list and she quipped, “Something really good, but I’m not allowed to tell you… wait, I will. John Green. You know

, ‘The Fault in Our Stars’? I’m reading a lot of John Green. I love it. But that’s all [I can say]” — she’s now been confirmed for the leading lady role in the adaptation of Green’s “Paper Towns.”

Delevingne will portray Margo in the film, a gal who’s pretty much the coolest chick in the world — at least, in the eyes of her most ardent admirer, Quentin “Q” Jacobsen (rumored to be Nat Wolff), who pretty much flips the world on its head trying to unravel the little mystery he believes she’s laid out after him after her disappearance. This is the kinda chick who’ll jump through your bedroom window in the middle of the night dressed like a ninja and not back down from the sight of a dead guy, so she’s gotta have a sassy side to her in addition to being just so gawjus.

Margo is a great fit for Delevingne, sure, but since the lit-to-film ladies are pretty much always going two-for-two on these properties these days (see also, Woodley, Chloe Grace Moretz, Teresa Palmer and Emma Watson), we wouldn’t be surprised if Delevingne finds her name alongside Mr. Green’s more than once … especially since pretty much all of his books are at least being eyed for some silver screen treatment after “The Fault In Our Stars” kicked so much A in this summer’s box office.

But what other role could she play from John Green’s novels? Let’s explore.

1. Alaska, “Looking for Alaska”
Talk about gorgeous. The eponymous Alaska in Green’s 2006 Printz Award-winner is hot to trot, and she definitely knows it. Self-possessed as a wild child, the girl’s also got quite a tragic edge as well, as her childhood was very complicated from losing her mother at a young age. Her impact on the boys at Culver Creek Preparatory High School, especially young Miles Halter, is … intense. Cara D. would be pretty perf for this part, don’tcha think?

2. Katherine, “An Abundance of Katherines”
There are 19 (yes, 19) Katherines in total which have crossed romantic paths with Colin Singleton, but the most recent one — called Katherine XIX or K-19 or Katherine the Great — was both the first and last of his Katherine-named lady friends. The boy literally has to escape to a place called Gutshot to figure it all out, so K-19 has to be some kinda stunner alright. We’ll put this one in the “eh, maybe” pile for now.

3. Lindsey, “An Abundance of Katherines”
Meanwhile, Lindsey Lee Wallace, of the same story, might a small-town girl, but she is also the official breaker of the Katherine Kurse of ’06. We can totally see Delevingne thumbing through a copy of “Celebrity Living” with her metallic fingernails, waiting for the next wanderer who wants a tour of Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s fake tomb.

4. Jane, “Will Grayson, Will Grayson”
Here’s another super cute love interest as seen through some seriously rose-colored glasses — this time, by one of the namesake Will Graysons. She’s the kind of lady who likes rock bands and can look great in a hooded sweatshirt. Not exactly the high fashion we’re used to with runway mainstay Delevingne, but she could probably manage to slum it a little for the role.

5. Maura, “Will Grayson, Will Grayson”
Frankly, we gotta peg this one as a no-go. We just can’t quite see Cara Delevingne going through the kinda style and persona transformation it’d take to become a gothy girl who spends her free time impersonating a guy online. But weirder things have happened.

Now that we’ve gotten through the catalog of John Green literary ladies, which do you think might be the best fit for Delevingne, apart from the mysterious Margo?
